Overview
On 28 June 2025, Advancing Civil Society - GLOCA implemented a two-day physical mentorship and coaching activity in Aleppo titled “Electronic Forms Design Skills.” The activity was delivered and facilitated by Abdulrahman Miqdah, with the participation of 25 participants.

Training Focus
The training focused on strengthening participants’ ability to design, manage, and analyze electronic forms for data collection, registration, assessments, and field or administrative follow-up. It emphasized the shift from paper-based forms to digital tools that improve efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility.

• Introduction to digital data collection tools.

• Using platforms such as Google Forms and Microsoft Forms.

• Designing professional electronic forms with different question types.

• Organizing forms into clear sections and improving user experience.

• Managing responses and exporting data to Excel or Google Sheets.

• Practical exercises based on social and humanitarian work contexts.

Key Outputs
Participants gained practical skills in designing electronic forms, building surveys and registration tools, managing responses, and using basic analysis features. They also developed sample digital forms linked to real work needs within social and institutional contexts.

Impact
The activity enhanced participants’ digital skills and supported the use of technology in social, administrative, and field work. It also contributed to promoting a stronger culture of digital transformation and data-informed decision-making in civil society work in Aleppo.
